pioneers oh pioneers


Sundays lately have become our day to adventure and explore, there are so many little hidden gems in this part of the world and with a combination of my gypsy soul and Venessa's cabin fever from staying home during the week, these day trips are very, very needed.


It was a perfect day for a drive with the clouds blanketing the peaks and the fog rolling around the treetops in an almost eerie display of fall



This tiny town is one of the oldest settlements in British Columbia and was the original starting point for the Omineca Gold Rush.

We visited this small art gallery where we basically wanted to move in and stay forever...


...and the nice lady let us feed Minea among bears and antlers. It was a perfect day!
