Home Sweet Boler

We have a dream of our own little home away from home, a little old Boler with mismatched sheets and dishes, with a little table to sit and have breakfast with Minea by a lake with old growth forest out the window and the dogs chasing squirrels outside

I'd be one of those gut-jobs with a lot of sanding and painting and asking for help over electrical issues.

we will paint it turquoise with gold details

and we will take it across bridges and through mountain passes

the inside will be filled with travel memorabilia and thrift store treasures

we dream of discovering this continent a little more each year, pushing the boundaries of towns and provinces and maybe even countries

one day you will be ours!

A Saturday with the Mullens family

We (me and Minea) get up around 7 and have coffee in bed while Venessa sleeps in for a couple of hours. This little girl is always so happy in the mornings. Around 9 or 10 we usually skype with my family for an hour or two and during that time Venessa will make breakfast. This Saturday we had gluten free pumpkin pancakes with coconut greek yoghurt (omg!)

Then we drove out to Usk and realized the Ferry was out due to low water levels so we had to climb the 528759 stairs in pouring rain carrying the car seat.

On our way back the Ferry was running again which was good cause we were running late for dinner...
